The Souvenir Store stands outside Beautiful Land and admits everyone. It sells real objects for real money.
It is the only place in the state where a person is not assessed, and it is the first place most people meet.
Thirteen objects are on offer in four categories, and a fourteenth, The Token, shown but not for sale, because it is issued only at the counter inside. Its most particular product is the Golden Pocket, bought in euros by someone outside the border and received inside it, by a named citizen, as labour-units. Inside Beautiful Land, labour-units (LU) are the only currency there is.
